What the office does
Four threads of work, run from one office on the Cape Coast campus.
Bursaries & scholarships
Stewards the General Bursary and every donor-funded scheme — one application routes a student to all the support they qualify for.
Assess & award
Receives applications each cycle, verifies need and eligibility, and convenes the award committees that decide and oversee every grant.
Disburse & track
Pays confirmed awards toward fees and upkeep, and keeps the running record of who was supported, by which scheme, in which year.
Connect with donors
Partners with alumni, foundations, and corporate sponsors to open new funds — and reports their reach back transparently.

Our mission
“No admitted student should leave the University of Cape Coast for want of money. We exist to close that gap — fairly, transparently, and on time.”
The office consolidates the University’s bursaries and donor scholarships behind a single application, so a student in need finds support without chasing a dozen separate schemes. We assess on verified need, decide through standing committees, and report our reach openly.
