    MAIDEN UCC SCHOLARS’ FORUM: A RESOUNDING SUCCESS!

    In December 2019, the Students’ Financial Support Office at the University of Cape Coast (UCC) embarked on a mission to provide financial aid to deserving students. This year marked a significant milestone as the office disbursed its 3rd batch of scholarships. To foster interaction and gather feedback, the inaugural UCC Scholars’ Forum was held on March 9th and 10th, 2023.

    STUFSO PARTICIPATES IN THE 55 TH CONGREGATION – OPEN DAY

    As part of the activities lined up for the 1st to 5th congregation, there was an Open Day scheduled
    on Wednesday, 29th March, 2023 at the Forecourt, Sam Jonah Library and the Staff of the
    Students’ Financial Support Office participated in the event. Open Day is organised to showcase
    or exhibit services and products from the various Colleges, Faculties and Schools of the
    University of Cape Coast.

    MS. GRACE MENSAH WINS “BEST GRADUATING UCC SCHOLARSHIP AWARDEE” PRIZE AT THE 55 TH CONGRAGATION

    The Students’ Financial Support Office presented a cash prize of GH¢1,000 and a plaque to
    Ms. Grace Mensah for emerging as the overall best-graduating awardee during the 1st Session
    of 55th Congregation. With so much pride and enthusiasm, the Pro-Vice Chancellor of the
    University of Cape Coast who is also the Chairperson of the Students’ Financial Support
    The committee presented the plaque and a cheque for Gh¢1000 to the Awardee. Speaking after
    the ceremony, Ms Mensah expressed her profound gratitude to the Students’ Financial

    AWARDEES' SYMPOSIUM 2022/2023 ACADEMIC YEAR
    On the 22nd August, 2022 the Students’ Financial Support Office in collaboration with the Design Thinking and Innovative Hub (D-HUB) organized an Awardees’ Symposium for its beneficiaries. The purpose of the symposium was to provide students with the requisite soft skills for life. The programme also made a call on them to be innovative and venture into entrepreneurship and create more employment opportunities after school. Topics treated were developing an Entrepreneurial Mindset, Spotting Opportunities in the University Ecosystem, Goal Setting and Milestones in Life, Time and Financial Management. These topics were facilitated by experts from the University.
