The Vice-Chancellor has nominated the Pro Vice-Chancellor, Prof (Mrs.) Rosemond Boahene as the chairperson of the Students’ Financial Support Committee to oversee the activities of the Students’ Financial Support Office and commended Prof Dora F. Edu-Buandoh the former Pro Vice-Chancellor and immediate past chairperson of the committee for her selfless contributions.

 Mr. Evans Asiatey becomes the new representative to represent The Distance Education Students Association of Ghana (DESAG-UCC) in the Students’ Financial Support Committee following a nomination by DESAG-UCC.

Mr. Adam Achire is the new representative of The Graduate Students Association of Ghana (GRASAG-UCC) in the Students’ Financial Support Committee. He began office in October,2022 after he was elected as president of GRASAG-UCC.

The Students Representative Council has elected Mr. Latiff Lawrence Jorhowie to represent them in the Students’ Financial Support Committee after the former representative, Mr. Samuel Adotei’s tenure of office elapsed.

The ALUMNI Association of UCC (ALUMNI-UCC) has nominated Mr. Samuel Danso Akoto a new representative to represent them in the Students’ Financial Support Committee. The ALUMNI-UCC is one of the several pools of funds of the students’ financial support office serving as a sponsor, contributing to the decision-making process of the committee and helping to alleviate the disadvantaged students.
