Open Call for Applications and Visit to College of Distance Education (CoDE) Centers in Tema, Accra and Kumasi
On Monday, January 22, 2024, the Student Financial Support opened the application portal to receive applications for College of Distance Education (CoDE) students across the country. In the quest of the office to increase the level of awareness of our operations and to publicize the UCC Scholarship and the DESAG Partial Scholarships available to CoDE students, certain new strategies have been introduced to increase the patronage of the financial aid facility. Aside from the extension of the application period from 4 weeks to 8 weeks, staff members from the Students' Financial Support Office were sent to major study centers across Ghana to interact with potential applicants. The goal is to make the scholarship accessible to genuine needy but brilliant students at CoDE.
This weekend, staff members from the office oriented distance students about the scholarship scheme; eligibility criteria, application procedures and also informed them about the ongoing open call for applications. Mr. Emmanuel Eshun visited Chemu Senior High School, Tema Senior High School, Trinity Lutheran School and Lashibi Community Senior High School in Tema. He also visited Accra Senior High School and St. Paul’s Lutheran School in Accra. Ms. Nadia T. Arthur visited Kumasi Secondary Technical School in Kumasi. Other staff members will visit other CoDE study centers in the upcoming week.
