Pecan Energies and ESL Consulting Visit UCC to Strengthen Partnership
On Thursday, June 27, 2024, the University of Cape Coast’s Students’ Financial Support Office (STUFSO) hosted representatives from Pecan Energies’ CSR Department and ESL Consulting. This maiden visit followed the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the two institutions, aimed at strengthening their partnership and exploring new opportunities for collaboration. The delegation, led by Mr. Emmanuel Annor Appiah, CSR Senior Advisor, included Ms. Akuorkor Osuteye from ESL Consulting and Mr. Leonard Annan Prah from Pecan Energies.

During the visit, Ms. Grace Mensah, Head of STUFSO, welcomed the team and highlighted the positive impact of the partnership on students' support and community engagement efforts. Pecan Energies introduced their newly appointed Program Manager, who outlined their strategic objectives to enhance support mechanisms for UCC scholars and foster closer ties between the two institutions.
Ms. Osuteye provided an overview of Pecan Energies’ initiatives, including financial assistance, mentorship programs, and community development projects. Key areas of mutual interest were discussed, such as enhancing support mechanisms for students, offering internships, and exploring collaborative research projects in renewable energy and community development.
