STUDENTS FINANCIAL SUPPORT OFFICE CONNECTS WITH NEW STUDENTS AT VALCO HALL AND COLLEGE OF DISTANCE EDUCATION
On 12 January 2026, the Students Financial Support Office of the University of Cape Coast (UCC) held an outreach session for Level 100 students at VALCO Hall and freshers at the College of Distance Education (CoDE). The initiative aimed to formally introduce first-year students to the UCC Scholarship for Needy but Brilliant Students and to raise awareness of the financial support opportunities available to eligible students.
The session was led by Mrs. Alice Okyere, Head of the Students Financial Support Office, who delivered an informative and interactive presentation. She outlined the purpose of the scholarship, explained the eligibility criteria, and provided step-by-step guidance on the application process, including key timelines. Students were encouraged to take advantage of the opportunity and to visit the Office for further clarification or support.
The outreach was well received and successfully increased awareness of the vital financial assistance available to students facing financial challenges at UCC, reinforcing the University’s commitment to supporting academic excellence and inclusivity.
