WELCOME MESSAGE FROM THE PRO VICE-CHANCELLOR PROF. (MRS.) ROSEMOND BOOHENE
It gives me great joy to welcome and appreciate you for your interest in the welfare of needy but brilliant students. The University of Cape Coast is passionate about providing equal opportunity to all students and desires that every student should succeed. This has led to the establishment of the Students Financial Support Office.
The Students’ Financial Support Office, under the Office of the Vice-Chancellor, offers financial assistance to needy but brilliant or promising students of the University through scholarship grants, work-study program linkages, and the coordination of all external scholarships within the university. The office remains a responsible agent for all accessible support funds, both internally and externally available, as it diligently focuses on making university education attainable to all by eliminating financial barriers and creating an accommodating and cordial learning environment for needy but brilliant Ghanaian students at the University of Cape Coast.
With core values of integrity, fairness, empowerment, creativity, and transparency, the office aspires to be a pacesetter in student financial support services with global acclaim through the effective use of technology and high-standard innovative services.
We continue to express our sincere gratitude to all external partners and sponsors including West African Gas Pipeline Company Limited (WAPCo), Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC), Pecan Energies, Goldfields, Newmont Akyem Development Fund, Prudential Bank, MTN Bright Scholarship amongst others for their constant commitment and dedication to the financial welfare of our students, and their tireless efforts which have made a significant impact in the lives of these students.
We are passionate about our mandate to provide financial support to the less privilege and we count on your unwavering support as we embark on this transformative journey.
