I will begin by thanking the initiators of this award scheme and the members of the student financial support office for giving awards to needy but brilliant students of UCC.
The email came in as a shock; I was wondering if I had been awarded or if it is just a message to thank me for trying my luck. I can't really express how much this award means to me, this acknowledgement is something that I will cherish throughout my life and would always look upon in those times when I felt helpless in paying my fees. Thank you.
