
The Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC) Foundation Scholars Association held its annual meeting on 13th January 2024, with the Students’ Financial Support Office (StuFSO) in attendance. The meeting aimed to remind scholars of their responsibilities and inform them of upcoming activities, including the social service project and the annual verification exercise.
On February 6th, 2024, the management of the Confucius Institute at the University of Cape Coast invited the Students’ Financial Support Office (StuFSO) to educate its students about the financial assistance services available. Madam Esther Dede Azzu and Mr. Emmanuel Eshun represented the Office during the session.
As part of the 56th Congregation of the University of Cape Coast, an Open Day event was held on Monday, 22nd January 2024, at the forecourt of the Sam Jonah Library. Various faculties and departments gathered to showcase their academic and research activities, engaging a wide audience of students, faculty, and visitors.
The Students' Financial Support Office (StuFSO) at the University of Cape Coast (UCC) organized the 2nd UCC Scholars’ Forum on December 14, 2023, at the School of Medical Sciences Auditorium. Established in December 2019, StuFSO provides financial assistance to needy but brilliant students through the UCC Scholarship and coordination of external scholarships. By November 2023, the office had completed disbursing scholarships to 392 students for the 2023/2024 academic year.
On Monday, January 22, 2024, the Student Financial Support opened the application portal to receive applications for College of Distance Education (CoDE) students across the country. In the quest of the office to increase the level of awareness of our operations and to publicize the UCC Scholarship and the DESAG Partial Scholarships available to CoDE students, certain new strategies have been introduced to increase the patronage of the financial aid facility.
The Students’ Financial Support Office was honored to receive an eight-member delegation from Ghana National Gas Company Limited on Tuesday, 20th February, 2024. The Ghana Gas Scholarship Scheme which is their educational scholarship scheme aims to support the education and development of Ghanaian students pursuing undergraduate or HND programmes in any of Ghana’s public tertiary institutions.
At the 6th session of the 56th Congregation, the Students’ Financial Support Office under the Office of the Vice Chancellor took the opportunity to honor the overall best graduating awardee. This award was presented to Ms. Abigail Cudjoe, a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) student. Ms.
